Pigeon-Hauling the Anchor

There is a good chance that Sarasota, Florida-based ABC 7’s graphic design team and anchor Hayley Wielgus are at odds with one another. After all, Wieguls instantly changed into a pig when she began reporting on how wild pigs were wreaking havoc in the city! At least that’s what the audience believed! In actuality, the graphics crew had only flashed a pig image above Wielgus rather than to the left of the screen. The crew quickly corrected the photograph. Wielgus, on the other hand, maintained his composure throughout the entire ordeal—at least on air. However, it does raise the question of whether or not that was an accident.
