Ripple isn’t bothered.

Working with wild animals is rarely preferred by news anchors and producers for a simple reason: you can’t really manage them. For instance, while the animals in the studio thought the report on the Edmonton Humane Society on the Canadian television program Global Edmonton was over, they had other ideas. Dog Ripple from the Human Society just wanted to play while weatherman Mike Sobel tried to tell viewers the prediction! As Sobel attempted to discuss the weather, Global Edmonton Ripple—a half mastiff—ran circles around him, unconcerned with the forecast. The dog then started jumping on the weatherman when Sobel wouldn’t stop! Fortunately, the anchor handled everything amicably, laughing throughout. What’s the finest of all? Just days after his participation on the Canadian news show, Ripple’s performance helped him land a show.
