Charlo Greene, an Alaskan news anchor, garnered notice across the world for her unexpected on-air confession and abrupt resignation. Green was covering a story about the Alaskan Cannabis Club, a pro-legalization organization, and marijuana legislation in Alaska at the time. Greene then revealed that she truly owns the Alaskan Cannabis Club at the conclusion of the segment! According to Edibles Magazine and the Anchorage Daily News, “Now that you’ve heard everything, I, the real proprietor of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be putting all of my energy towards fighting for liberty and justice, starting with making marijuana legal in this state. And as for this position, well, I guess I have no choice except to resign,” Greene said as he walked off the set.
