Pumpkins in the air (and microphones)

Have you ever been embarrassed at work and wished it would go away? And so did Tom Brown, the weather anchor for CTV Toronto! 2011 saw Brown provide live coverage from the Toronto Zoo’s polar bear display. The weatherman was asked whether he would want to throw pumpkins, one of the bears’ favorite foods, by the animal caretakers there. Sadly, Brown’s first two pitches entirely missed the display! Then, on his last toss, he unintentionally flung his microphone and third pumpkin into the polar bear-infested sea! CTV Toronto Despite Brown’s best efforts, his crew simply would not let him forget the entire incident. They have mocked the anchor throughout the years by substituting his weather chart with a clip of his tragic pumpkin tosses.
