Powerade vs. silly string

Emily Jones, a seasoned sports reporter for Fox Sports, is used to getting Powerade hurled at her during post-game interviews. Jones began bringing silly string with him in 2017 to ward off any would-be jokesters. But the reporter quickly discovered that even silly string couldn’t defeat a focused baseball player. While Jones was interviewing the Texas Rangers’ Adrian Beltre in 2017, two additional Rangers players came sprinting towards Beltre and Jones with a bucket of Powerade. Fox Sports Despite Jones covering the players in silly string, they continued to splash the reporter with the ice-cold sports drink! Amazingly, like the real professional that she is, Jones simply shrugged it off and carried on with the interview.
