David Eppley’s photograph was mockingly dubbed “Majestic and Graceful Bald Eagle.” Even though bald eagles are regarded as majestic, graceful avians, as you can see above, they occasionally tumble over.

This bald eagle misjudged his landing and crashed headfirst into a tree, probably due to fatigue from building on a new nest. Bald eagles are pretty tough, so don’t worry. The photographer claimed that after giving it a few “wing strokes” and a “rest,” the prey bird was alright.
