We could really create a list of amusing animal pictures that are exclusively dedicated to monkeys. The monkey who plays the lead in Jakub Hodan’s “Treehugger” looks to be kissing and hugging a tree. Or at least forcefully putting his nose up to the tree.

Since trees are an important part of monkeys’ lives, who are we to judge, in the words of Hodan? The proboscis monkey was probably trying to figure out who else had climbed the tree by sniffing it thoroughly or pressing his nose against the rough bark. Who knows, maybe he’s in love?
