This location has a shockingly low book count and a disproportionately high customer complaint count. You saw that there isn’t two zeros next to the 9 and 1? Most folks wouldn’t either. After all, it just makes no sense; nobody expects a letter buried in a phone number. Either this business enjoy torturing their clients or they had a pretty bad luck of the draw.
The worst thing is that aside from this perplexing number and letter combo, they hardly provide another means of getting in touch with them. They have to contend with a lot of irate consumers. This phone number mess is the ideal storm of inadequate customer satisfaction and bad communication. Although the little difference between “O” and “0” seems insignificant, in the context of a phone number it is a crucial difference that causes great uncertainty and annoyance. This control shows a disrespect of fundamental communication ideas and user experience. In a time when customer service is more important than anything else, it is quite easy for clients to get to you to sour your relations and lose revenue. Lack of alternate contact channels simply makes the issue worse and reveals poor customer relations’ foresight. One can only image the annoyance consumers have when trying repeatedly to call what they assume to be the correct number only to be let down.
