8. Underwater Archaeological Survey Robot


When running in waters with different turbidity levels, this specialized survey platform has serious problems in its imaging systems. When the robot’s sophisticated 3D mapping technology comes across some kinds of sediment, the results are quite distorted and accurate archeological documentation is not possible. Operating close to submerged buildings, the apparently steady hovering system of the platform becomes dangerously unstable and poses hazards to valuable archeological sites. Operating in natural electromagnetic anomalies, the data storage systems of the unit show surprising corruption.
