Photographs of the Hindenburg catastrophe serve as a constant reminder of how terrible and terrible this event was. One of the biggest airships in the world, a gigantic German airship, caught fire upon landing, resulting in the disaster.

It was a fire that claimed the lives of thirty-six persons. This mishap was caused by a gas cell leak, which let flammable air to ignite and produce static electricity. For good reason, the Hindenburg placed a stop to the era of stiff airships.
