Although you might be accustomed to having small crystals for energy in your living room, there are crystals up to 39 feet long in this realm. When the Cave of Crystals was found in the Naica mine in 2000, it was full of enormous gypsum that was as big as telephone poles.

The cave’s excessive warmth is the issue, though. It can get as high as 136°F on average and have at least 90% humidity. Because no one can endure this climate for longer than ten minutes without proper protection, this feature contributes to the cave’s mainly undiscovered status.
