9. Cleaning Oven Racks and Trays
Remember the trays and racks you removed earlier even as the inside of your oven has been changing. Often with even more dramatic results, these can be cleaned using a comparable dishwashing tablet approach. Just enough hot water should be filling your bathtub or big basin to submerge the racks. Drop two to three dishwasher pills then let them dissolve. Carefully submerging your oven racks and trays into this solution guarantees their whole immersion. For optimal effects, let them soak for minimum two hours—or overnight. Usually leaving your racks looking like new with little scrubbing needed, the dishwasher tablets will help to break down grease and food residue. Use a gentle sponge or towel after soaking to clean any dislodged grime. Like with the oven interior, you may directly scrub any tough stains with a dishwasher tablet. Before putting the racks and trays back in your sparkling clean oven, fully rinse them using fresh water.
