4. The Dishwasher Tablet Technique
The interesting thing now is running your oven with the dishwasher tablet. Don your rubber gloves first to guard your hands. Dip a dishwasher tablet only momentarily in the bowl of warm water. You want the tablet to be damp, not soaked. Squeeze gently any extra water out. Starting at the top of your oven, treat the tablet directly on the surface as though you were running a rubber over it. Work in small, circular motions and gently push. As you run the tablet on the surface of the oven, you will find that it begins to froth and dissolve. The cleaning magic is right here in this foam. Proceed this method, working your way along the sides and rear of the oven, especially in places showing obvious stains or grease accumulation. Remember also to wash the inside of the oven door. Sometimes re-wetting the tablet will help to keep it effective as you work. If one tablet dissolves totally, just grab another and carry on. The secret is to apply the foam from the tablet equally across all surfaces.
