A tree can reach heights of several feet, reaching your neck to peer at the top of a plant you planted years ago, given the correct circumstances, time, luck, and favourable environmental factors. However, some trees are simply enormous; the Montezuma Cypress, which serves as Mexico’s national tree, is one of them.
This image may lead you to believe that a group of trees have grown together to form a trunk, but that is not the case. This tree, which is truly the Tule tree, is magnificently 119 feet wide and 116 feet tall. It’s true that it is wider than tall.
