Before his business took a bad turn, vintage vehicle collector Roger Ballion was an avid collector. His epic collection lay dormant in a rust-stained shelter in a corner of his land due to financial responsibilities.

Nobody is certain of Ballion’s exact fate, but the world was astonished in 2014 when 60 vintage cars—albeit decaying ones—were found on his French farm. French actor Alain Delon had previously possessed a Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder, which was included in the collection. Just the Ferrari brought in €16.2 million ($18.5 million/£14.3 million).
