8. HIMARS
A lightweight, highly mobile artillery platform able to deliver accuracy attacks over long distances, the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is Mounted on a conventional tactical truck chassis, HIMARS combines great strategic mobility with the firepower of more massive rocket artillery weapons. Its transportability by C-130 planes allows quick deployment to any theatre of operations. The superior fire control and targeting technologies of the system help to minimise collateral damage by allowing exact engagement of high-value targets.
