A very useful product for getting rid of tiny splinters is vaseline. Because of its thick thickness, the skin surrounding the splinter becomes softer and easier to remove. After liberally smearing Vaseline over the splinter-affected area, wrap it up with a bandage for a few hours or overnight. The splinter becomes considerably easier to remove with tweezers when it gets closer to the skin’s surface, occasionally even protruding.
