NBA All-Star Anthony Davis received a sizable punishment in 2019 for making an improper gesture toward a fan. In response to a fan’s criticism of his performance in a previous game, Davis shared a picture of himself giving the finger on Twitter.

He consequently received a $15,000 fine for “unprofessional conduct.” Having played for the Lakers for four seasons now, Davis is accustomed to being scrutinized. He has mostly controlled his anger and kept his checkbook in his pocket.
