The Searcher 1, Wilt Chamberlain’s personal favorite vehicle design, was created. Peter Bohanna, an automotive designer, received a special design from Chamberlain and brought it to life for the NBA player.

Because of his height, Chamberlain was unable to fit in standard cars, so he decided to build his own at a cost of $750K. His Le Mans-inspired vehicle, built by Bohanna, went on to become nearly as well-known as Chamberlain.
