All you have to do is split a garlic bulb into cloves and plant the cloves two inches below the surface in moist, loose soil. The pointy sides of the cloves should be facing up. Take care not to overwater the garlic as it sprouts. Cut off flowers as well in order to protect the garlic. Simply replant one or two bulbs when they have developed, adhering to the previous guidelines.
