An inexpensive and environmentally responsible method of starting your seedlings each spring are newspaper containers. Cans, newspapers, dirt, and seedlings are required. To secure the newspaper into the shape of a pot, you will use the can as a mold.

Make sure to water and thoroughly soak the pot after building it and adding the dirt and plants. This will facilitate the seedling roots’ easy growth via by accelerating the newspaper pot’s breakdown. Since you most likely already have newspapers and cans in your home’s recycling bin, this hack is inexpensive.
