Although the counter has been banned, she is still technically on the stool.
Even though Roxy, the cat, isn’t permitted to be on the counter when her parents are there, she somehow manages to settle down. She is well aware that the barstool is the only appropriate spot for a cat to hang out in that area. She believes that by laying just one paw on it, she may divert her parents’ attention from the fact that the rest of her body is on the counter.
This is just another cute example of a cat trying to be smart and pushing boundaries; although this kitty did her best, she technically broke the house rule.
