14. Iceland’s Skogafoss Waterfall


Found in Skogar, East Iceland. Visitation is free of charge.
This waterfall rises to a height of about 200 feet! It is located along the Skoga River in stunning southern Iceland and is known as Skogafoss. It dwarfs everyone who visits (for free, as there is no entrance fee) and is situated close to the cliff’s old coastline.

There is only one drop at the falls, and the walk is not for the weak of heart. The fifteen-mile trek to Skogafoss takes one or two days to accomplish, depending on one’s speed, according to TripTins. But it is unquestionably worthwhile to witness such a natural marvel.
