The Lion’s Mane Jellyfish is a stunning and unusual marine animal that can reach a length of 120 feet. The Northern Pacific, Northern Atlantic, and Arctic Oceans are home to the Lion’s Mane due to their frigid, boreal climate.

It is nearly as long as six Ford F-150s placed end to end due to its length. Despite the menacing appearance of the Lion’s Mane jellyfish, allergic reactions are rare and the stings are not lethal despite being extremely painful.
