Applying lots of Vaseline to hardwood furniture and leather surfaces will help you erase little scratches (not large ones, just minor ones). If you want to avoid furniture repair, try this DIY trick.

On the scrape or abrasion, generously apply a layer of Vaseline. After a full day, use a cloth to scrape off any extra jelly. Scrub the residual substance into the leather or wood that hasn’t been damaged.
