6. Columbia – Don’t use Uber services.
Utilizing non-official taxi services, such as the Uber app, is not permitted in Colombia. Always pick the front seat near the driver to give the impression that you haven’t taken a cab without a license. If you sit in the backseat, the cops might pull you over. Your driver may just have to pay a $39 charge, but they risk having their car impounded.
