11. Troubleshooting Common Challenges

Every practitioner runs against challenges on their path of merging meditation with foot massage. Typical obstacles include trouble keeping concentration, physical pain in longer sessions, or trouble scheduling consistent practice. Starting with shorter sessions and progressively increasing length, address these problems. Should physical discomfort develop, modify your posture or approach and be sure not to hesitate to use props for support. Remember that a wandering mind is natural and expected of the practice; just focus back on the present moment free from judgement. One can solve time management issues by including the practice into current routines or by dividing it into smaller sessions all during the day. Remind yourself of the advantages you have gone through and think about changing your approach to keep interest even if your motivation declines.
