The Citroen Fourgonnette, a delivery van, served as the model for the vintage S-Cargo. Citroen also provided inspiration for the interior design, especially the single-spoke wheel. Nissan debuted the van at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989. There was no Nissan logo on it, and it was only accessible with a reservation at the time.
