16. Lemonade
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $1*
Lemonade is a pretty standard drink that’s available everywhere, from Burger King to fancier restaurants. However, something clearly got lost in translation when one diner ordered a tall glass of the sweet stuff and got a bowl full of lemon wedges.

Lemonade @Andrew_Grawem / Twitter.com
Was there some sort of communication issue thanks to loud restaurant music? Let’s hope so, because we can’t fully believe that someone would serve this up as lemonade. It just doesn’t make sense, considering there’s no liquid to be found anywhere. What’s more, the seeds are still intact. It’s a no from us.
17. Veggie Burger
Ordered From: Northern Ireland restaurant
Average Order Price: $10*
Eating out as a vegan or as a vegetarian isn’t as easy as it is for meat eaters. While eateries are evolving to include more acceptable options, a bean burger is a pretty standard meat-free dish for most places. Only this Northern Ireland restaurant didn’t quite get it.

Veggie Burger @alanahrama / Twitter.com
When one customer ordered a bean burger they were given a burger full of baked beans. Even a lover of the tomato-flavored pulses has to admit that they’re a little too soggy to stuff into two slices of bread. We have to admire their ingenuity, but this isn’t going to cut it, boyo.
18. Double Pepperoni Pizza
Ordered From: Dominoes
Average Order Price: $13.99*
Everyone loves a pizza. Picking up the phone and calling Dominos can turn meal time into a stress-free event that caters to everyone, from the kids to the dog. While Dominos offer up plenty of customization options, this person hit the jackpot when they ordered double pepperoni.

Double Pepperoni Pizza @u/andreamarie44 / Reddit.com
What they got wasn’t so much double as quadruple – and then some. You can barely see the cheese, but if you’re a pepperoni fan, this doesn’t seem like so much of a bad thing. Better this than just one measly slice of sausage per slice!
19. Ice Cream Sandwich
Ordered From: McDonald’s
Average Order Price: $2*
We love the ever-changing menu at McDonald’s and its ability to stay present in an evolving market. Even if you don’t eat there, you have to admire just how far the brand has come in the business world. Having said that, when orders like this are served up, it’s kind of amazing they’re still standing.

Ice Cream Sandwich @u/NutellaOnYoBooty / Reddit.com
This customer ordered an ice cream sandwich… Only to get a literal ice cream sandwich. There’s a big issue here, and it’s not with the perfect dispensed dairy. Does anyone actually eat things like this, or was the server purposely being a little scamp?
20. Burger with Lettuce
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $10*
Low carb diets have been steadily on the rise over the past few years as people try to steer away from gluten and look at a healthier way to eat. It’s not for everyone, but restaurants are slowly trying to cater to that huge market with burgers that are keto-friendly.

Burger with Lettuce @xlittlewolfy / imgur.com
In this case, a lettuce burger sounds like a pretty good bet – but they don’t typically come served in an entire head of lettuce that’s been cut down the middle. We’ve got to say, the rest of the burger looks pretty good. It’s just the lettuce that lets it down.
21. Nothing For Dessert
Ordered From: Disney
Average Order Price: $0*
Going on a Disney cruise isn’t for the faint of heart, not least because it costs an incredible amount of money. But, by all accounts it’s a wonderful experience and staff never stop bringing out the surprises. One diner said “nothing” when asked what they would like for dessert, so nothing is what they got.

A “Nothing” Dessert” @u/Douee / Reddit.com
This pretty plate was probably just a nice gesture from the kitchen instead of an actual mix up, but can we just appreciate the effort that was put in? That’s a waste of chocolate and another plate to wash up afterward, but it looks nice!
22. Flip-Flopped Bun
Ordered From: Burger King
Average Order Price: $4.99*
Burger King bears the title of the monarchs for a reason. The company isn’t famous for its fries, but rather, for its delectable Whoppers and other burger mea;s. But you might need to keep a careful eye when your Double Whopper is being made up in the kitchen.

Flip-Flopped Bun @jzohenzo / Pinterest
If not, you might find yourself with an upside down dish that looks a little worse for wear. We can’t even begin to guess what happened here, but whatever it is, it’s not pretty. For $4.99 we expect more finesse from our fast food and less crash, bang, wallop.
23. Side of Chips
Ordered From: Bella Italia
Average Order Price: $6*
Bella Italia is popular in the UK, as are chips (not to be confused with American potato chips, British chips are known in America as “fries”). It can get a bit muddled, but there’s no way on Earth most people would confuse chips for chocolate chips when ordering Italian food.

Side of Chips @liam_innalls / Twitter.com
That’s exactly what happened to this unsuspecting customer, though. Instead of opening up a box to find a steaming side of well-seasoned fries, they got a box full of chocolate shavings. We wouldn’t be mad about it, but we would still want the fries.
24. Expired Breakfast Burrito
Ordered From: McDonald’s
Average Order Price: $4*
Call us strange, but wouldn’t most of us like our burritos without an expiry stamp on them? In most cases, expiry dates are placed on the cartons of food and not on the food itself. Clearly, something happened in the McDonald’s factory as a customer was surprised to get a reminder staring them in the face.

Expired Breakfast Burrito @Delish.com / Pinterest
This really takes the whole breakfast burrito experience down a notch, which isn’t ideal when they’re about $4 a pop. Let’s just hope that the burrito in question didn’t actually expire in 2012 or there might be a bigger issue here.
25. Pizza (Hold the Cheese)
Ordered From: Pizza Hut
Average Order Price: $15*
What do you get when you order a pizza from Pizza Hut? Considering how popular the brand is across the globe, we would like to think that it would at least look decent. We’re not entirely sure what happened here, but whatever it is, it’s not right.

Pizza (Hold the Cheese) @theChobble / Pinterest
This pizza looks less like an Italian feast and more like it’s been dropped on the pavement prior to delivery. Is there anything redeemable about this? At least one of the sauce pots looks full, so there’s always that to drink when things get really bad.
26. Chicken Sandwich
Ordered From: Wendy’s
Average Order Price: $4.99*
There’s something about chicken in a burger that just feels so right. It’s like cookies and cream or salt and pepper. It’s a perfect combination, with fast food chains everywhere offering their own take on the classic. Wendy’s has been selling chicken sandwiches for years now – but they don’t typically look like this.

Chicken Sandwich @Rincevent / Pinterest
In this case, one customer opened up their burger to discover it wasn’t full of a nice fried chicken fillet, but three chicken nuggets. It’s a twist on the classic that we haven’t seen before, and for good reason.
27. Double Espresso
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $0.26*
Perhaps the restaurant ran out of large cups? When you go to Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts, you’re used to getting your double in one paper cup. However, one customer decided to be fancy and go to a sit-down place. When they ordered a double espresso, they got two tiny cups stacked together instead of one regular cup.

Double Espresso @Thierry_G / Twitter.com
Unlike a lot of the other bloopers on this reel, this one is still edible, if perhaps a little messy (and maybe even a bit passive aggressive). As the less-than-amused coffee customer said, “I ordered a double… So that’s what I got. Duh.”
28. Coffee with Cream
Ordered From: German cafe
Average Order Price: $3.44*
Chalk this one up to a language barrier (though it still looks delicious). One customer went to a German restaurant and ordered a “coffee with cream.” The barista, maybe not understanding that that’s the usual way English-speakers order coffee, delivered a cup of coffee and a plate of whipped cream, all the while probably wondering who the weirdo was that ordered that.

Coffee with Cream @Bored Panda / Pinterest
Luckily, the coffee doesn’t look black, so the customer probably didn’t have to drink an entire bitter cup. The exact coffee shop that he or she went to is unknown, but the average price of a cup of coffee in Germany is $3.44.
29. Coconut Water
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $2*
It was probably busy and loud in the restaurant, so we can cut the waiter some slack here. When one customer ordered a “coconut water,” the waiter accidentally heard “Coke and water.” The two do sound pretty much the same, especially if the customer talks fast, so the mistake here is easy to understand.

Coconut Water @KulvirSinghGill / Twitter.com
And the customer might have been better off with the Coke and water, price-wise. A coconut water costs $2 a cup, whereas a glass of Coke is around $1.35 on average. Not to mention, water at restaurants is almost always free of charge. When it comes to saving money in this case, the wrong order is the best one.
30. Chili Burger
Ordered From: Unknown
Average Order Price: $7-$10*
One Twitter user reported that his friend ordered a chili burger and instead got a burger with a gigantic green pepper (or maybe it’s a pickle) on top. The friend said, “I ordered a chili burger… I need to communicate better.” Though the burger isn’t really edible – there are no lettuce, tomatoes, etc. anywhere to be seen – at least fries look good.

Chili Burger @JCMills6 / Twitter.com
A chili burger is probably supposed to mean a burger patty that has been topped with chili con carne (meat chili), a dish popular enough to get its own Wikipedia page. Fun fact: the chili burger originated in LA, though it’s unclear what restaurant ruined LA’s recipe so badly.
