How can the dolphin population in the UK  be valued? It’s very easy. It is not possible. In actuality, the Crown is the owner of every whale, sturgeon, and dolphin. The Queen inherited this when she was crowned, so it’s not exactly a gift in the traditional meaning of the phrase. It is currently King Charles’s.
Since the 1300s, the rule has existed. Any swimming fish caught within three miles of the United Kingdom is referred to as “fishes royal,” according to TIME.
