You have undoubtedly seen this artwork on Instagram if you have spent any time there. Crayons will melt and flow downhill to form a vibrant work of art if you arrange them in a rainbow and use a hairdryer to blast them for an elongated period of time.

Like most people, you probably thought it was nice when you saw that project on Instagram and then promptly forgot about it. One person did, however, discover that their attempt to replicate the DIY wall art didn’t really go as intended. This is a $70 DIY project with no return on investment because a hair dryer costs $40 and Crayola crayons cost $30 for a 96-pack, which is the only reasonable number to purchase.
