The construction of Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, required billions of dollars, and Epcot was one of the most costly attractions. With its national attractions, themed events, and foreign food, this theme park is thought to have cost between $800 million and $1.4 billion to build.

Disney makes $1 million a day from ticket sales alone, so it has more than recovered its investment. Disney’s operating revenue is $5 million per day, while the parks collectively generate $25 million in revenue daily. It’s understandable why Disney is regarded as a “blue-chip” company for investing.
