Soviet military technicians originally created the Sukhoi Su-35, often known as the Flanker-E in NATO reporting. In an effort to compete with businesses like Lockheed Martin, Russia made the Sukhoi Su-35 available for potential export orders following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

The People’s Liberation Army Air Force and the Russian Air Force both continue to operate Su-35s, which had their maiden flight in 1988. Exporting the Su-35 is more expensive than the domestic version of the fighter by $43 to $25. Radar having several functions was used in the design of the multirole fighter jet, the Su-35.
