Another fighter jet manufactured by the well-known French armaments manufacturer is the Dassault Rafale, which was initially created for the French Air Force and Navy. The aircraft type Rafale is omnirole. The Rafale is a multirole fighter jet with two engines, canard-delta wings, and a range of weaponry.

Interdiction, reconnaissance, air superiority, ground support, and almost every other task required by the French Navy and FAF may be accomplished by the Rafale. The aircraft was created in the latter part of the 1970s. Instead of going to a foreign corporation like Lockheed Martin, France chose a domestic company to help save on development expenses.
