In 2015, CAMEL MRAP made its debut. “Concept for Advanced Military Explosion Mitigating Land” is what CAMEL stands for. Although it is currently only a concept, the CAMEL is getting closer to being an actual product. The CAMEL is an 8×8 mine-resistant and ambush-protected vehicle (MRAP).

Landmine and IED point protection is offered by the CAMEL. It has sophisticated electronic systems, vision blocks, full-color LCD screens, and more. Its high ground clearance keeps occupants away from IEDs that might be hiding beneath the car, and it can traverse difficult terrain. The vehicle essentially embodies all the lessons that U.S. troops have gained from their combat experiences in arid environments.
