We suspect that the Redditor who shared his AI invention was aiming to construct a “Paralysis Demon,” which is a kind of hallucination that individuals commonly perceive in the corner of their room or at the foot of their bed during a bad dream.

It sounds awful, doesn’t it? What’s not horrifying, though, is how Midjourney took that idea and turned it into a demon that is genuinely paraplegic. The wheelchair appears to have been purchased from a standard medical supply firm, detracting from the frightening appearance of the monster.
