Are robots able to dream? That seems to be a question better suited for the purveyors of dystopian fiction and science fiction films. The prompt from Google’s engineers was for their AI program to display what it dreams about.

They urged the AI to “produce your dreams,” and it did just that. It produced a number of never-before-seen surrealistic concepts and landscapes. The outcome was both lovely and unsettling.
