61. Floating Gloves

Credit: Bridget Moser
App Used: DALL-E-2
Created by Bridget Moser using DALL-E-2, this was one of Moser’s earliest photographs, which she deemed an “impossible photograph.” It features three gloves floating in a dark forest, and it looks pretty realistic.

AI doesn’t seem to have the issues with gloves as it does with hands. This “impossible photograph” is eerie, as you could easily see it fooling people into thinking that this forest is actually haunted.

62. A Basketball-Playing Demogorgon

Credit: Unconfirmed
App Used: DALL-E-2
The Demogorgon is the name of the terrifying monster from Stranger Things, and it is one of the main antagonists during the Netflix original series. The creature hails from the Upside-Down, a dark dimension parallel to the current world.

A Basketball-Playing Demogorgon @substackcdn/Pinterest
It’s also a basketball player, at least according to AI. The Demogorgon is pretty fast and large, and it would probably dominate on the court—or, at least terrify its opponents into quitting the game.

63. New Beauty Standards

Credit: Art Official Intel Agent
App Used: Unconfirmed
Heads up, ladies: new beauty standards just dropped. Throw away your BBLs and lip fillers in exchange for becoming a mini-limbed monstrosity. To be fair, becoming this AI-generated woman is easier than trying to conform with impossible beauty requirements.

Victoria’s Secret models can eat their heart out, thanks to this photo series from Art Official Intel Agent. If we thought AI didn’t get hands, apparently, it has a real issue with long legs (and arms), too.

64. Deadpool Chair

Credit: pornopanda
App Used: Midjourney
The person who created this image said, as you can see, that it was having trouble getting Midjourney to stay on-task when creating this acrylic chair with Deadpool sitting in it. Midjourney sort-of got it, but not really.

Deadpool Chair @boredpanda/Pinterest
Ryan Reynolds would no doubt get a kick out of seeing his famous Marvel character, the Merc with a Mouth, turned into an acrylic chair. The chair even has abs on it, as well as the Merc’s famous red-and-black mask.

65. Google AI Knight

Credit: Google
App Used: Google AI
This is an interesting one, as, for this, Google engineers asked their AI program to come up with images. No prompt was given; the AI just had to generate whatever it wanted. Some pretty weird images resulted.

Including this one, which features a knight mixed with a psychedelic, swirling ensemble of creatures and characters. Google AI must be having some very weird dreams, judging from its self-generated images.

66. Google AI’s Enhancements

App Used: Google AI
Google’s engineers were testing its AI with a series of interesting prompts, some of which asked the AI to come up with its own images. During one testing round, the engineers chose not to give the AI any abstract prompts.

Google AI’s Enhancements @nicole-mortillaro/Google.com
Instead, they gave the AI photographs of real-life objects and asked the system to show the researchers what it saw. The results were surprising, showing how AI “thinks” and views real-life objects in such an alien way.

67. The Dreams of AI

Credit: Google
App Used: Google AI
Do robots dream? That is a question that seems to better be the purvey of sci-fi movies and dystopian stories. Google’s engineers asked their AI program to show what it dreams about—that was the prompt.

The Dreams of AI @nicole-mortillaro/Google.com
Produce your dreams, was what they told the AI, and produce it did. What it created was a series of surrealistic landscapes and concepts never before seen. The results were both eerie and beautiful.

68. The Scariest Person On Earth

Credit: Craiyon AI
App Used: Craiyon AI
Craiyon AI was given a prompt, and it delivered. You might want to look away if you’re easily grossed out, as this is what AI thinks the scariest person on Earth looks like. They’re not far off. This image series reveals that AI knows what frightens us.

The Scariest Person On Earth @thesun/Pinterest
Bad teeth, wrinkled skin, and crazy eyes cause us nightmares. Basically, AI knows that things that look human but aren’t are enough to cause anyone to shiver in their boots. This doesn’t bode well for us if the robots start psyops.

69. Birthday Cake Anatomical Layout

Credit: @weirddalle
App Used: DALL-E
DALL-E strikes again when it comes to this photo, which contains a “biologically-accurate anatomical description of a birthday cake.” Found on @weirddalle’s X account, this image puts us off birthday cake (sort of).

Birthday Cake Anatomical Layout @weirddalle/Twitter.com
Birthday cake has layers, sure, but seeing them represented in an anatomical diagram that looks like human skin? It’s a big no-thank-you from us. This weird image never would’ve even been thought of had it not been for AI.

70. Galaxy of Flesh

Credit: @keithscho
App Used: DALL-E-2
On X, @keithsco (Keith Schofield) came up with this concept for the movie Galaxy of Flesh, which was directed in 1985 by David Cronenberg. Well, at least, according to AI, it was. This movie isn’t real, but you could’ve fooled us.

Galaxy of Flesh @keithscho /Twitter.com
It has Cronenberg’s gory, bizarre vibe to it, and the overall look is totally eighties. These shots use retro film stock and fleshy monsters to look real, and people have mixed feelings about the deception, judging from reactions on X.

71. Jodorowsky’s Frasier

Credit: Rob Sheridan
App Used: DALL-E-2
Those who are into films might recognize this style, as this AI image recreated the hit sitcom Frasier in the style of Alejandro Jodorowksy. The avant-garde filmmaker is acclaimed, though not for these random hits.

Jodorowsky’s Frasier @futurecdn/Pinterest
Jodorowsky’s Tron is another famous AI-generated film still. This picture looks at Frasier if Jodorowky was in charge, and it’s quite a darker, different vibe from the sitcom we know and love.

72. Breakdancing Joe Biden At His SOTU Address

Credit: @weirddalle
App Used: DALL-E
Well, this would certainly liven up State of the Union addresses, that’s for sure. Here, we can see Joe Biden breakdancing at the SOTU address, courtesy of DALL-E. He has quite a few moves, it seems.

Breakdancing Joe Biden At His SOTU Address @weirddalle/Twitter.com
SOTU addresses are usually a solemn affair, fraught with controversy, critique, and applause. But, AI turns that concept into something more fun—a dance party. Sure, there’s crises, but breakdancing solves all.

73. Snoop Dogg As Barbie

Credit: @weirddalle
App Used: DALL-E
Rapper Snoop Dogg has been around since the 1990s, and he has become a defining figure in West Coast hip hop culture. It’s hard to imagine rap music without Snoop’s voice. But, according to AI, he’s feeling like it’s time to switch careers.

Snoop Dogg As Barbie @weirddalle/Twitter.com
Snoop is a rap legend, and Barbie is, well, Barbie. Imagine the hit 2023 blockbuster if it starred Snoop Dogg instead of Margot Robbie. It would’ve been an even chiller movie…yet still just as fun, we bet.

74. AI Does Dallas

Credit: D Magazine
App Used: Dream
Dream, an AI art app, took a stab at recreating the city of Dallas, Texas at the behest of D Magazine. Dallas is one of Texas’ most popular and populous cities, and AI took its skyline and turned it into something strange and beautiful.

AI Does Dallas @dmagstatic/Pinterest
Reunion Tower, the Perot Museum, the Dealey Plaza, and more are some of Dallas’ most iconic buildings, and this Dream image is a combination of all of them and more combined into a colorful, psychedelic landscape.

75. A Visit To The Art Museum

Credit: Unconfirmed
App Used: Midjourney
Possibly created using Midjourney, this AI art takes two people on a trip to an art museum, where everyone appears to be yelling and angry. The married couple onscreen are furious with one another (though they aren’t looking at each other).

A Visit To The Art Museum @miro.medium/Pinterest
Meanwhile, the picture behind them is also aghast and yelling. There’s really no point to this image, other than that is another example of just how random, avant-garde, and unexpected AI-generated art can be.
