Skye Terrier
Originating from the Isle of Skye in Scotland, the Skye Terrier is a moderately intelligent breed. It was bred as a working terrier and used to hunt foxes, badgers, and otters. During the Victorian era, the breed became highly fashionable among the aristocracy after Queen Victoria acquired one. A Skye Terrier named Rona II even appeared in a portrait with the Queen. Despite its historical prominence, the breed has since become one of the least known terriers.
