1. Filler for Fermiment

Found Year: 2010
NASA is the one who discovered it.
Location: The Milky Way Galaxy’s centre
Two bubbles composed of intense gamma rays were seen emerging from the centre of the Milky Way in November 2010 by NASA scientists using the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. The massive spheres lingered in empty space above and below the black hole at the centre of the Milky Way, expanding at a speed of 2.2 million miles per hour.

The two bubbles are even more bizarre since, when combined, they resemble an infinite symbol. Stretched 25,000 light years out from the cosmic plane is the full figure-eight. The energy of the bubbles is equivalent to 100,000 supernova explosions, yet their origin is still a mystery to scientists.
