Given by: King Farouk of Egypt Estimated Value: Unknown According to the Middle East Eye, Princess Elizabeth was given a magnificent wedding present by King Farouk of Egypt in 1947. An antique gold necklace that supposedly dates “back to the third century BCE” was given to the princess by King Farouk. Egypt was still a British colony at the time; it became independent in 1953.

One of the oldest Egyptian coins was put into the necklace, which is quite precious. The remainder of the necklace is thought to date to approximately 250 BCE, much like the coin. “Arsinoe, a former Queen of Egypt during the three-centuries-long Ptolemaic Dynasty,” is thought to be represented by the necklace.
