Migration routes of grey whales are serious business. They travel between 10,000 and 12,000 miles in a round trip from one calving lagoon to another each year. They cover about seventy-five miles a day at a speed of five miles per hour. September and October are the months when they migrate south, ending in the warm Baja and Mexican lagoons. Their Arctic seaside summer residence.
