Looking at this aerial view, you probably wouldn’t know what you were seeing if you weren’t looking very closely. The image shows a field of yellow rapeseed in bloom. The Brassica subspecies is cultivated because of its high erucic acid content and is recognised for its bright yellow colour. Canola oil, which is used in almost everything, is essentially made from rapeseed.
