5. Permission to Share Content on Social Media

Reason: To make sure the information is consistent with the ideals and reputation of the royal family.
An exception would be personal, private accounts unrelated to government work.
The social media landscape is constantly changing, so it’s critical for the royal family to keep up a consistent and polished online persona. For this reason, social media posts must go through an approval process. The content that is made available to the public is in line with the royals’ ideals and the message they want to spread by obtaining clearance. By following this procedure, they may be confident that their online persona stays consistent with their duties and functions.

This regulation does not, however, completely prohibit them from expressing themselves. They are more free to discuss intimate details and experiences on their personal profiles, which are separate from their official personas. The fundamental idea is to maintain the dignity that comes with their roles while finding a balance between their private and public selves.
