The vast oceans of Earth have seen millions of ships sail across them, and thousands have perished in their depths, joining their last resting place. Among all of these, wreckage can occasionally be found by humans that provides no indication of its origin or owner, save for a rough idea of the historical period it may have come from.

This ancient shipwreck from the 12th century was rediscovered by a local fisherman, who discovered an octopus holding a prehistoric plate. Following that, a collection of almost 2,500 pricey porcelain bowls, plates, and cups in excellent condition was discovered by South Korean archaeologists. Although not much is known about the ship’s history or cargo, it is thought that these goods were meant for the Goryeo Dynasty’s nobility.
