Oshkosh manufactures the LVSR Wrecker, which is designed for heavy-duty vehicle recovery from mud, snow, sand, and pretty much any other material. The Wrecker can go across any terrain because of its versatility and mobility. It belongs to the same family as tractor trucks, freight trucks, and wreckers—LSVR.

An Israeli company called Plasan created an armor kit for the LVSR Wrecker. The armor system vehicles (sometimes called an A-kit/B-kit principle) are equipped with protection. The Wrecker boasts enhanced floor springs and easy-to-install armored protection kits that just require simple hand tools. Installing the B-kit is possible “as required.”
