In March 2020, the Turkish Army received the FNSS Kaplan 30 NG ATV for the first time. Turkish military manufacturer Roketsan produces the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle). Medium-range OMTAS anti-tank missiles are included with it. The missiles have a fire-and-forget feature. The rocket can travel eight kilometers, or about five miles.

The FNSS has a tank range of more than 525 kilometers (326.22 miles). Additionally, Russian-developed Kornet E anti-tank missile systems will be installed on the tanks. Not every Kaplan will be equipped with this missile system. The Turkish military revealed the acquisition on Twitter and placed a total order of 260.
