We’re constantly searching for ways to reduce our environmental impact. In addition, if you have an old basketball, don’t dispose of the rubber ball in a landfill. You could use it as a planter if you’re a green thumb. Mark the area you want to cut on the upper part of the basketball first.

Use a basketball as a planter on YouTube or in real life.
Carefully open the ball and clean it using a solution of white vinegar and water. Once it’s completely cleaned, fill it with dirt and seeds just like you would in a regular planter. You can make a hanging planter out of the basketball by cutting two strong threads of string and making holes in the top of the ball.
