This house is thought to be the most haunted place in all of Ireland, therefore it should come as no surprise that it was abandoned. The house was chosen as the primary shooting location for the 2017 horror movie The Lodgers because of its legendary status. The house’s first known ghost story was from the 17th century, when the owner is said to have brought in a bystander who they believed to be a supernatural being.

After that, the house changed hands multiple times, with many people fearing for its unfortunate outcome. After purchasing the house in 2011, Shane and Aidan Quigley restored it so that it could host haunted tours and frightening stays until 2020.
