Many people have difficulty putting medication in their eyes. It’s a major issue, whether or not that is related to their dislike of it or their fear of things getting in their eyes. Japanese eyedrop spectacles are designed to address this issue. A funnel is balanced on each lens of the eyedrop glasses.

When you fill the funnel with medication and keep your eye open, it enters your eye without any issues. Japan’s Tokyo is home to Topcon, the company that makes the spectacles. The U.S. Patent Office states that the first patent for these eyedrop spectacles was obtained in 1991.
